The General Secretariat participated in a high-level round table held by the Republic of Turkmenistan on Saturday, 21 June 2025 in Istanbul, under the theme: “Peace and Trust: Pillars of Unity and Resilience in the Islamic World” on the sidelines of the 51st Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers.
Addressing the meeting, H.E. Yousef bin Mohammed Al-Dubaie, Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs, extolled the initiative of Turkmenistan to hold such an important meeting.
He stressed the efforts by the OIC to defuse conflicts and shore up the foundations of peace, security, and stability across the OIC geographical sphere He also commended the efforts made by the member states to promote such values by the means of its initiatives and endeavors in this regard.
