The Ministerial Committee of the Organization of International Cooperation on Accountability for Human Rights Violations against Rohingya held a meeting chaired by H.E. Dr. Mamadou Tangara, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Gambians Abroad. The meeting was held on Sunday 22 June 2025, on the sidelines of the 51st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers, held in Istanbul, Republic of Türkiye.
H.E. Mr. Yousef bin Mohammed Al-Dubaie – OIC Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs – took part in the meeting.
The Meeting expressed support for the case filed against Myanmar at the International Court of Justice, in order to achieve justice and accountability for the people of Rohingya, and discussed recent developments on the issue.
