The Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Mali and the Republic of Suriname have signed the Statute of the OIC Labour Centre on 22nd June 2025, on the sidelines of the 51st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the OIC, which was held in Istanbul, Republic of Türkiye, on 21st – 22nd June 2025.
In view of this development, the number of OIC Member States, which have signed the Statute of the OIC Labour Centre, presently stands at 24, while 6 of them have so far ratified the same.
The 51st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers urged other OIC Member States to accede to the Statute of the OIC Labour Center expeditiously as well as urged the signatories of the said Statute to finalize the ratification.
